Recycling factory tours in new york city?

I’m a treasurer at a recycling program at school, promoting school recycling. I’m thinking about planning a trip to a recycling factory that gives tours in new york city. Do you know any or ideas? -Thanks.

May call Dept of Sanitation NEW York City call 311 or contact the Commissioner for tours. This is a great idea may open some eyes to kids on how much waste is in one city alone least the world.
