My friend is a tourist who overstayed because he got denied with his extension of tourist visa. he is planning on getting married with his US citizen girlfriend as soon as possible. Do you think it’s still possible for him to obtain a work permit and temporary green card once they got married?
Just find a spouse. Marry him and you will be fine. But i hate this law , because i know people are abusing the hell out of it. I have seen people who charge money per marriage and this sucks.
Yes, if he get married, he can apply for the GC. An ilegal who came legal can be sponsored by a US citizen through marriage.
