What Scandinavian tour operators fly to Zakynthos from Sweden?

Or any other Scandinavian countries?

that would be TUI AG,Anderson Scandinavian Tours,Scandinavian Discovery DMC~

which people offer the cheapest in airline tickets,Travel and tour operators or the Airline Offices?

Posted on June 30th, 2010 by admin in tour operators | 2 Comments »

In buying airline tickets, how do i get the cheapest and which of the two offers the cheapest rates?

If you are flying domestically then a good idea would be to go on sites like orbitz or expedia to check the cheapest carrier and then book it directly on that particular airline’s website- that way you are saving the convience fee and when you need to make future changes the airline wont give you a hard time that you purchased the ticket thru a 3rd party!
Now is the important thing- when it comes to international flights (mostly Europe, Asia, South America) then Airline Consolidators have MUCH CHEAPER prices and offer lots of seasonal discounts as well!!! One of them is AMTA (American Travel Abroad)- 773-467-0700 but there are many other ones as well…. Most of the time they won’t sell their tickets directly to the passengers but they distribute them among travel agents (who add about $30 mark up to them) but still they come up to be cheaper them on the net. Try to find a good airline conslidator or contact your local travel agent and ask them if they are booking thu consolidators! Good Luck

Why have the other tour operators increased their prices since Conquest bit the dust?

Posted on June 28th, 2010 by admin in tour operators | 1 Comment »

Caribbean vacation packages are all up about 15 to 20%.
Does this have anything to do with Conquest closing up shop?

I am not familiar with this but it is possible since some of your choices are diminished.

What’s the difference between travel agents and tour operators ?

Posted on June 26th, 2010 by admin in tour operators | 2 Comments »

The tour operator would be the wholesaler and the travel agent is the retail outlet.

Every year there is a travel show called "Pow Wow" (don’t ask how it got the name). Every major tour operator attends, as many travel agents as possible come, and every person/vendor that has a travel/tourist related product, tries to display that product. The vendor wants to establish a business relationship with the tour operator, as they will then put out the major travel programs for the travel agent to promote.

For example, I’ve been in the RV Rental Industry since 1981 and have worked this show as a vendor, promoting motor home rentals…the company I worked for did this every year of course. As a result, over the years, the company’s business has grown substantially, and approximately 65% of their business is from the international market. Unfortuantely, the domestic travel agent does not do a very good job of marketing RV Rentals and they miss a good opportunity to make a good sales commission.

Some tour operators might also operate separate travel agencies and some don’t.

With only a few days to go before kick off, the country awaits around 300,000 tourists and so too, do the tour operators. Anticipating the needs of the visitors is essential if they are to benefit from the influx of these soccer enthusiasts. But Coffeebeans Routes, a tour operator in Cape Town has managed to stand out from the rest by introducing a soccer tour alongside its other products. Cape Town reporter Nawaal Deane went along to experience this soccer tour.
